An MOT can be carried out up to twenty eight days prior to the expiry date of your existing MOT certificate, whilst still preserving the anniversary of the original expiry date. If you have your test carried out twenty eight days before the due date, your MOT is effectively valid for 13 months. MOTs for cars are known as class 4 (or class IV). If your vehicle should fail the MOT test we’ll be more than happy to explain and show you why. We also offer free retesting should your car fail its MOT.
